Martha Moffett has devoted her career to solving problems through the application of law, both human and divine law.  After receiving an undergraduate degree from Smith College and law degree from Boston University, she became a trial lawyer with the United States Department of Justice in Washington, DC.

While pursuing her career in law, Ms. Moffett developed a deeper interest in another kind of law -- the law of God that Christ Jesus applied with such consistent healing results.  Through studying the Bible and Mary Baker Eddy's book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Martha's understanding of this divine law increased until in 1994, she left the legal profession to devote her life to the full-time practice of Christian Science.

A number of healings she has had through the application of God's law have been shared on the Christian Science Sentinel radio program broadcast every Sunday morning on WTMJ Radio (620 on the AM dial) at 6:30 AM.

Martha Moffett is a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship.
