“Christian Science explains all cause and effect as mental, not physical. It lifts the veil of mystery from Soul and body.”

Soul and Body
- An understanding that God is the source of strength and fitness
frees us from an unnecessary emphasis on food and exercise. Jesus said,
“Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body,
what ye shall put on.” (Luke 12:22)
- When we look to God as our true source of health, we reflect true
health. “...hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the
health of my countenance, and my God.” (Psalms 42:11)
- Overcoming sensual attraction is as simple as expressing joy for God’s presence in your life. Read more in section 7.
- You are the radiance of God. Now that’s beautiful!

“Mortals are not like immortals, created in God's own image; but
infinite Spirit being all, mortal consciousness will at last yield to
the scientific fact and disappear, and the real sense of being, perfect
and forever intact, will appear.”

Mortals and Immortals
- The human scene tempts us to believe we need human healthcare to fix
sickness, exhaustion, pain, stress, allergies, and even old age. Jesus
used spiritual healthcare. He proved that healing takes place in
consciousness. He contradicted physical complaints and revealed the
spiritual model of man that God created. Check out passages from the
Bible and Science and Health in section 6.
- The more we acquire the the Mind of Christ, the more we understand
ourselves as God made us - free from sin and disease. The Apostle Paul
said, “...when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part
shall be done away....For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then
face to face:” (I Corinthians 13)
- You don’t ever have to doubt your ability. Environmental influences
are no match for God’s love for you. If God gives you a job, nothing can
keep you from it. “...wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of
thy times, and strength of salvation:” (Isaiah 33:6)

Everlasting Punishment
- God wants you to be happy. If you’ve taken the wrong path, the
divine Shepherd will guide you to the right one. “The Lord is my
shepherd;” (Psalms 23:1)
- Strength, inner peace, happiness, security, freedom, and true
success fill our lives when we overcome evil with good. Joseph refused
to accept aggressive suggestions of immoral behavior. His fidelity to
God led him to become the second most important man in Egypt.
- Self-righteousness and self-importance block the detection of our
own faults and tend to make us more aware of other peoples' faults.
- No child is lost to the Father. God always welcomes you home no
matter what you’ve done. If you’re already home, be sure to welcome
those who are returning. Check out Jesus’ parable of the Prodigal Son in
sections 3 and 4.

Adam and Fallen Man
- Suggestive thoughts in TV ads, news alerts, and even from other
people often make problems appear bigger and more real. But the size of a
lie doesn’t matter. It’s all the same powerless nothingness, and you
have divine authority to tune it out. Check out the Bible passages in
section 7 along with an explanation in Science and Health.
- Let the Christ keep your thought awake. Lies try to put good
thinking to sleep so we’re tempted to do things that are wrong. Jesus
said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions,
and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means
hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)
- Don’t be fooled into thinking you aren’t good enough to receive a
healing. The Christ is simple, and you’ve got it. The Apostle Paul
warned that misguided human belief makes it difficult to understand. “I
fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his
subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is
in Christ.” (II Corinthians 11:3)

“Jesus marked out the way. Citizens of the world, accept the ‘glorious liberty of the children of God,’ and be free!”

Probation After Death
- Jesus revealed to all mankind the greatest of gifts: spiritual
healing and guidance on how to let God meet all human needs. The Apostle
Paul wrote, “...the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ
our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
- God’s health and happiness are continuous. Work every day to lift
your thought above the physical senses of hatred, anxiety,
discouragement, and pain. Check out section 4.
- The judgment day of wisdom comes every moment. Right thoughts unite us with God, peace, and harmony.
